Welcome back, everyone!
I'm so glad to be introducing Writer's Friday to my blog.

Why now, you ask?
Well, recently I realised I have been so focused on my main project for the past six months that I find it impossible to write anything else at all. Which is good, considering my main project is going really well. Yet, being unable to come up with anything else is upsetting in its own right. Wanting to write a short and fun little thing is something I can no longer do. So, I decided to start this challenge to remind myself what it means to write just for the fun of it.
How does it work?
I will share a new prompt on Fridays and spend part of the weekend writing a short story around it, then share it with you all on the following Friday, along with a new prompt. And so on.
Now, mind you, this is meant to be a relaxing and joyful process, aiming to help me increase my creative flow. It is possible that I won't be able to post every Friday, but I will try my best to have 2-3 posts per month.
On that note, the stories will inevitably have some flaws or misspellings, as I won't be editing them more than once. Again, fun is the goal, not perfection.
How do you come into this?
Finding new people in the writing community is something that has been at the back of my mind for more than a year. I really want to try and share writing prompts of other authors; that way, both you and I can discover new, wonderful storytellers. Of course, credits will be given, along with a link to the original post.
If you are an author yourself and want to join too, please do! If you find a prompt through one of my posts and tag me once you upload your work, I will be more than delighted to share it on my page too! And of course, you can message me and suggest a prompt!
And where will I find these prompts?
Right here! I will list all of them in this post, along with the links. If the list grows out of control -which I sincerely hope it does- I will figure something out to help us both navigate it better!
I hope the details of my new endeavour were explained well. If you have any questions, my messages are always open for you!
Now, let's start writing!
