I'm Stella (author name: Stella S. Raven),  a NA author of fantasy and science fiction. I love writing morally grey characters, exploring the intricate balances of human relationships and creating atmospheric settings that immerse the reader deeper into my stories.

 

When I am not writing, you can find me catching up with my favourite TV show or cuddling my cats. Despite my TBR growing unstably large, I won’t pick up a book unless the mood is right and there is a cup of hot chocolate in my hand. Happy endings do not nest between the pages of my books, but I can promise thrilling plot twists, strong character dynamics and a bittersweet aftertaste as you reach the final page.

When it comes to reading, I love series with found family tropes, enemies-to-lovers, morally grey MCs and whatever Kaj and Inez from the Six of Crows had. I like anxt and stolen moments and endings that will leave me staring at the wall. I weigh a story based on the world built around it, its atmosphere and strong character dynamics. Lately, I am falling in love with female rage, unquenchable desire for revenge arcs and unyielding female characters.
